The First Blog… *cue rock music*

It’s been a long time coming, but welcome all to my blog, I’m Pregnant Now What where I will spend my time writing about my own journey through pregnancy and motherhood with some old fashioned good humor and perhaps some more of the heart-warming moments in my life.

This is my first pregnancy and so I have a lot to learn and not a whole lot of time to learn it. I mean, 5 months have already gone and I still don’t know every single type of food I’m not allowed to eat. (which apparently is a lot more than I thought when Google is involved)

At the moment I’m transitioning into the midway point in my pregnancy which means I’ve already collected a few different types of symptoms.  I swear they’re a bit like trading cards.

“What do you have?”

“Gas and Heartburn. You?”

“Swollen feet and the occasional vomit.”

Thankfully *knock on wood*, the pregnancy has been pretty good to me so far, but I know that I can only keep my craving for chocolate cake underwraps for so long. I mean I’ve given the baby sushi and my normal intake of caffeine, what more does it want from me?!

All in all though, the end product should be a cute little snuggly masterpiece that unfortunately brings you smelly gifts every day, but somehow you just end up loving it more and more.

So if you’d like to join me in my first trip down pregnancy lane, please stick around, post a comment, like my stuff. I promise more and more blogs in the future as I receive more information and experience more of what my pregnancy has to offer.

Much love,

Elle

    This is a great idea!

And I can’t believe it’s 5 months already 😀 so excited for you guys.
Never having had a family member or friend go through pregnancy and motherhood, I myself feel underprepared and have no idea what you do with the little mini people. They don’t teach you this kind of stuff am I right?!

What kind of things are you finding out? And if you ever need a baby sitter in the future – you’d have to teach me what to do- but I’m here if you need me! :)

Awww <3 *hugs* thank you Em!! And yea, it’s really surreal. I’ve had a few friends give birth in the last year or so, but it still feels a bit lonely 😛 but yes, we will definitely keep you in mind!!! xxx
