- I have a lot of burning sensations at the top of my bump which apparently means, the baby is bruising me… greeeeat.
- Itchy hands and feet have subsided
- Feeling emotional as all hell.
- I want a salmon and cream cheese salad right now.
So my first week of maternity leave is over and I’ve been busier than ever. Didn’t they say I should be relaxing?… well obviously relaxing is just not in my vocab right now.
I’ve set myself up with a bunch of different projects to work on including preparing for baby which I think I can safely say, if we were to go into labor now, I would feel comfortable doing so. I spent some time at boots gathering supplies like baby wipes and diapers
and two adorable xmas themed onesies. We’ve also gotten a baby bouncer with a matching mat.
We also got our carseat which I’m really excited about! It’s a Joie Stages and it “transforms” with how the baby ages. We were back and forth about the Maxi Cosi, but once our friends told us about this one, we just thought, hey, this is perfect!
I’ve also washed pretty much all of our baby clothes. The only ones left are those that are 3 – 6 months in size so I’m giving my washer a bit of a break. It was so cute to see all the baby items drying though. They’re so small.
Anyways, hope you all are doing well with your pregnancies! I’m planning a post about my fitness regime later this week. Granted, I’m no model.. Sarah Stage >.>… but I’d like to think a great deal of the reason my pregnancy has gone so smoothly is thanks in part to how I’ve kept healthy throughout this pregnancy. Bear in mind, I am not a fitness/health professional, so all I’d be doing is showing you the things that I’ve been using/doing that have been approved by my midwife!
